11 Months Old

Time Flies When You Are Having Fun.

I Can't Believe My Baby Is Almost ONE!

Cash turned 11 months old on April 10th. He now has 4 teeth on bottom and 3 (almost 4) on top. He is beginning to sign "all-done, more, and milk". He crawls fast, extremely fast! He loves to pull himself up to things and is brave enough to let go. He's starting to say "mama" and means Mama. He also says "hi". He sleeps awful (still) and loves his food (still).

Easter Weekend

The boys dyed Easter eggs on Saturday afternoon. I procrastinated and didn't buy dye until that day so it took me trips to two different stores before I found some.

Grandma Betty came up Saturday afternoon and watched the boys for us while we went out on a date. We enjoyed dinner at the Alley Rose and a trip to look around the new house (again).

The boys were up early (Carson was up at 4:45) on Easter morning all ready to begin their egg hunt.

Cash enjoyed his first Easter basket full of goodies!

I didn't get very good pictures of Carson & Collin hunting eggs because they were running so fast through the house, but I happened to get this cute one of Cash making a funny face at me. Check out all of those teeth!

We hope everyone had a blessed Easter!

Fishing

Brett promised to take the boys fishing while he was home for Easter so we headed out to the lake early Saturday morning. I think it was a bit too cold because the fish weren't biting. They had fun anway and Cash & I got some good fresh air by walking around the entire lake.

North Platte Visit

On Sunday April 1st, the kids and I drove out to North Platte to visit Grandpa Walt. They loved riding his scooter down the halls with him and his dog, Missy. We ate lunch at the Assisted Living with him and then we all went out to the Railroad Spike.

I was pretty disappointed that they now have this lovely train table at the top of the tower. I could barely get Collin to look out the windows at the REAL trains.

We had a great time visiting Grandpa Walt and hope to make a trip out to see him again soon!

They started framing our house on 3/30/2012.

The boys found a turtle on the dirt pile. Of course, they asked if we could keep him for a pet. I convinced them that he was a snapping turtle just so they didn't want to ;-)

This is how it looked on 4/6/2012.

March 31st

Last Saturday we went to the Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt at the YMCA. It was fun seeing the families that I work with or have worked with in the past. The boys enjoyed meeting some of my students too.

Cash enjoyed the grass!

It was in the upper 80s that afternoon (crazy weather for March!) so the boys got to play in the water table. Cash loved his first outside water experience and soaked Carson & Collin.

We are all looking forward to a fun-filled spring/summer!
