The Polar Express

Carson, Collin & I rode the Polar Express to the North Pole on December 1st. We drank hot cocoa, ate cookies, and sang Christmas carrols. Santa climbed aboard the Polar Express and gave each child a bell.

" When the boy grew up, he rang the bell every Christmas. And every Christmas he heard its beautiful sound, because he never stopped believing. The bell still rings for him to this day--as it does for everyone who truly believes. "

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day was spent being together as a family, enjoying good food, and beautiful weather! (photos courtesy of Uncle Shawn).

And the day after after Thanksgiving was spent relaxing, watching the Huskers play football, and enjoying an evening out to celebrate our 8th Anniversary.

6 Months Old

Cash Jennings turned 6 months old on November 10th.

Weight 16lbs 5oz, 50%

Height 26", 75%

Cash is quite vocal now. He makes all kinds of cooing noises and one that really sounds like "hi" when he first sees someone. There are times where he gets really loud as if he's yelling at me (I think I'm gonna be in trouble!). He's still very unpredictable with his sleeping...waking 1-5 times a night. However, he is very set on having his Prevacid at 5pm, bath at 5:30pm, and to bed at 6pm. He will let you know if you haven't followed his routine! He's also getting close to sitting unassisted, sucks his thumb to go to sleep, and enjoys chewing on his toy girrafe.

We love you to the moon and back Cash!

The "Dirty" Little Truth!

I am a mom AND I work full time AND majority of the time I am home alone with all three boys. People often say to me, "I don't know how you do it!" Well, truth is....I prefer my house to look like this...

...When majority of the time it actually looks like this...

There you have it....The Dirty Little Truth!!!

Happy Halloween

Bumblebee Transformer, Skunk & Dragon

He truly is a "little stinker"

I just LOVE fall and this evening was absolutely perfect for Trick-or-Treating!

The boys enjoyed walking around our neighborhood and then enjoyed passing out some candy to children who stopped by our house.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2011!

On the Bricks

Every year they have Trick or Treating on the Bricks the Thursday before Halloween. Our high school sitter was kind enough to offer to help me take the boys downtown for a candy filled evening of Trick or Treating!

Carving Pumpkins!

Plenty of ooey-gooey pumpkin seeds!
The perfect pumpkin train for Collin!

He was pretty pleased with it!

Carson carved his pumpkin face himself and then decided to poke holes all over it.

It was a perfectly good day for carving pumpkins!

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

Today we had a fun-filled time at the Helgoth's Pumpkin Patch! The day started out at a cool 48 degrees when we arrived shortly after it opened, but the sun ended up shining and the day was quite enjoyable.

Mama and her three little pumpkins :)

Carson's favorite part of the day:

Trying to lasso.

(He has since decided that is what he'd like for Christmas!)

Grandma Betty joined us for this adventure!

(I couldn't have done it without her)

The CUTEST pumpkin I could find!

Collin's favorite part of the day:

Riding the train!

Both boys loved the zipline!

We all had a great time on the new pumpkin bounce!

5 months Old

My little guy is already 5 months old!

Cash loves: playing patty-cake, tickles, bathtime, nursing, baby food, and being outside.

Cash does NOT like: going to sleep easily (or sleeping all night), waiting to be fed, some strangers, and not being held.

1st Baby Food

Cash had his first bites of baby food today. He loved the squash!

4 Months Old

Cash turned 4 months old on September 10th.

Weight 14lbs 2oz 35%

Height 25 inches 50%

Head Circumference 16 inches 15%

Cash is a fairly happy boy these days. He smiles alot (with his tongue out) and laughs when he is tickled, talked to, or looks in the mirror. He rolls from tummy to back and pushes up on his arms really well. He still wakes 3-4 times a night *yawn* and has only slept through the night twice in the last month. Maybe next month!

Nebraska State Fair

We attended the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island on September 4th. My parents went along to help with the boys and enjoy the festivities.

Collin loved this New Holland semi truck. I'm guessing he would have drove it home if knew how!

Cash did great that day and took several naps in the stroller sucking his thumb.

Carson telling Grandpa all about the combine & wheat.

Carson went down the World's Largest Inflatable Slide!

We all enjoyed the pig races!

Collin & Grandma enjoying the pig races. Collin's lips are blue from slushie he was drinking.
The boys ate chocolate covered bacon and I had deep fat fried Oreos :)

Collin rode the train...

...And the helicopters!

Carson did the bungee jump trampoline.

Thank You Nebraska State Fair for a wonderful day!
