Happy Grandparent's Day!

Happy Grandparent's Day!

We love you!

Your two little monkeys,

Carson & Collin

Ouch!

We woke up to a loud thud and Carson screaming around 12:30am. I went running in to find him with his head hanging down onto his steps and his feet caught in his guard rail! After turning on the lights and comforting him for a long time, we realized that the plastic had broke on his rail. Since his bed sits so high off the floor I went and purchased and double gaurd rail and we turned his bed around. It's going to be so much easier changing his sheets without the bed being against the wall now!

Go Huskers!

Carson & Collin were all decked out in their Husker attire for the game yesterday. I couldn't manage to get a good picture of the two of them but here is one good one of Carson and one good one of Collin.

Sleepy Boy

Tonight when I got off work I went upstairs to change into something a little more comfortable and I layed Collin down on our bed. When I came out of the closet this is how I found him!

Mirror

I have been wanting a mirror above our fireplace ever since we moved in over a year ago. Brett had always told me he wanted to make the frame for one so that it would match the rest of the woodwork in our house. My parents ended up getting a large mirror at an auction for $5 and Brett and Carson created a frame for it this weekend. I absolutely love it!

Laikyn's 3rd Birthday Party

Carson spent Saturday night with Grandma Betty & Grandpa Mike (after many weeks of asking to) and we met them at Laikyn's birthday part on Sunday. She got a Barbie car and enjoyed giving everyone rides. Carson was a little crabby after only taking a 30 minute nap on the way to Lexington so he had many tears/breakdowns that afternoon.

New Things!

Collin Wyatt laughed for the first time today! I was holding him while we were eating supper and Carson and I were talking about his day when all of a sudden Collin busted out laughing. It wasn't no little laugh....it was like he had been holding it in forever! Carson and I immediatley began laughing too and Collin continued to giggle. It was so sweet. He's changing everyday and I can't believe how fast he is growing. He began sleeping 8-12 hour stretches at night just 2 days before I went back to work. He's rolled from his back to his tummy one time and is also now known as "our little thumb sucker!"
