Yummy Spaghetti

I made spaghetti today for the boys and Eiley. I really didn't plan ahead and think about the amount of scrubbing it would take to clean up THREE children and the dining room rug! What was I thinking? At least nap time follows lunch and I was able to have some "alone" time to wash everything up (and post this blog!)

Field Trip to Earl May

Carson's preschool class took a field trip to Earl May last Tuesday. The kids enjoyed seeing all the animals, beautiful flowers, and learning how seeds grow. They even got to bring home their very own flower and a bag of popcorn!

Easter Sunday

Carson enjoyed finding the many eggs that the Easter bunny brought for him. They were filled with candy, playdough and even money!

We enjoyed lunch that day with Grandma Betty at the Alley Rose. The picture of her and the kids was too blurry to post (sorry mom!)

Dying Eggs

We dyed Easter eggs the day before Easter. Brett was getting things ready for Carson and he left the kitchen and came back and seen that Carson tried opening one of the liquid dyes all by himself! So, not only did we dye eggs....we also dyed clothes, the kitchen counter and the floor!

Rainy Day Egg Hunt

Carson and I attended Brodie's (one of my students) 1st Annual Egg Hunt last Saturday. It was quite an exciting event filled with eggs, the Easter Bunny, treats, rain and even thunder and lightning! The kids did not seem to mind getting a little wet and quickly found the eggs filled with wonderful candies and toys.

Carson was the first person to ever make Collin laugh and he continues do a great job at it! I wish I could have taken a video of them without Collin seeing me because he was laughing so much more until he saw the camera.

Fridays With Eiley

We have been watching Eiley on Fridays while Stef & Jason are at work and their daycare provider is on maternity leave. We've had a great time with her and she loves to repeat what Carson says!

The last time Brett was home I had him dig this push toy out of a tote in the garage. Collin loves that he can push it all by himself! It doesn't seem like that long ago Carson was pushing it around our house in San Clemente!
