Slip N Slide Fun

My mom was up to visit the Thursday before Collin's birthday and she gave him this Slip N Slide. All 3 of the boys have had so much fun playing in the water.

Dozer

I came home from work one day in May and Dozer was unable to move and visibly sick. I carried him to the car and we drove him to the vet. They asked to keep him overnight so she could run some tests. She called me an hour or so later and said they had found a mass in his stomach and were unsure if ate something he shouldn't have. He was too weak to do surgery and she hoped he'd make it through the night. The next day they went in and found his spleen was twisted (no mass) and therefore they removed it. He spent several days in recovery trying to build his blood count back up. He was finally able to come home and we are happy to say that the surgery has resolved his year long vomiting problem!

One Year Old!

I'm so far behind on blogging, but I hope to get caught up soon! Here is Cash's one year picture. He's the only one that I took monthly pictures of and I am so glad I did. It seems he is growing faster each and every day.His measurements from his well-baby checkup got misplaced during the move so I need to call the clinic and get them written down in his baby book.

A Mini Vacation

After a weekend full of graduation parties and Cash's birthday party, we headed to Omaha for a relaxing few days of fun! On Monday we spent the morning and part of the afternoon at the Henry Doorly Zoo.

Carson wasn't feeling well right after we got there and we probably would of had to leave if it wasn't for this rented double stroller.

Collin LOVES trains and last year when we went to the zoo over spring break the train wasn't running yet. He was super excited to take the train ride around the zoo this year!

Cash enjoyed his first trip to the zoo and was such a trooper.

We also enjoyed eating out, going to Nebraska Furniture Mart (well I'm not sure the boys enjoyed the 4 hrs we spent there!) and swimming at the hotel.

Mini vacations are just as exhausting (and fun) as BIG ones!

It's Coming Along!

The walls have been primed and the ceiling has been painted (the kitchen area).

Doors are being hung.

The stone has arrived and is going up!

This week the tile in the bathrooms is being layed, the cabinets will go in and they are hanging all the trim and will stain it on the walls before they begin painting. 4 weeks to go!

We celebrated Cash's first birthday on May 12th with a Dr. Seuss themed party. It was so much fun planning, decorating, and enjoying the party!

Because Cash's birthday falls on the same weekend as graduation, I wasn't able to order a cake. My friend from work was willing to make these delicious key lime cupcakes.

House Progress

I've been way behind on my blog postings, but here is some photos of the progress on our new home. We FINALLY accepted an offer on our house and had the home inspection today so we are moving forward. We are all looking forward to being in our new home and new neighborhood June 15th!
