8 Months Old

Cash turned 8 months old on January 10th. He now spins in a circle on his tummy, babbles, blows raspberries, sits for long periods of time, and shakes his head no. He got his first tooth on January 4th. He still goes back and forth with his sleeping patterns. Sometimes he'll only wake up once and other nights its 3 times. He's such a happy boy and there are times where I just can't get enough of his cute little face!

I got a Keurig Coffer Maker, VS underwear & pj's, socks, and lotion.

Dozer got some new toys from Santa too!

Collin enjoyed his DS so much it had to go to the bathroom with him! :)

We enjoyed our day together as a family, watching the boys play with all their new toys. Carson did not get sick again but he sure didn't feel like eating much.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, Brett & the boys made cookies for Santa and we all enjoyed homemade vegetable beef stew. The boys said goodbye to Frizbee, our Elf on the Shelf, and wished him a safe trip back to the North Pole.

The boys were all sound asleep by 7:20pm. At 8:00 I heard Collin crying so I went upstairs only to find that Carson had thrown up all over his bed, dresser and the floor.....and was still sleeping!!! Brett and I had hoped that maybe he just ate too much cookies but he was up again at 2am. That time he thankfully made it to the bathroom.

Brett helped clean up his room and I'd have to say it was a night we'll never forget! We got to laughing pretty hard about it, because what else can you do!?!

The Eve of Christmas Eve

On Friday morning Carson had a little program at school where they read poems and served hot chocolate. Afterwards, Brett, Collin, Cash & I had lunch with Gordan and Steph at Cunningham's before picking Carson up from school at 1:15pm. We then loaded up the car and headed to Beaver City for Christmas with my parents, despite them being in the middle of a complete kitchen remodel.

A Visit from Santa!

Santa stopped by for his annual visit on December 12th. He brought the boys each a candy cane and asked what they would like for Christmas. Collin was the only one that was a little shy. He shook his hand when he walked in but otherwise he didn't want to get close!

7 Months Old

Cash turned 7 months old on December 10th. He is just learning how to sit on his own, drink from a sippy cup, eat finger foods, and babble. We hear a lot of "dadadada" and "nininini". He's got such a sweet little voice when he babbles! People often comment on how beautiful his eyes are. I think he looks a lot like my dad's baby pictures.

The Polar Express

Carson, Collin & I rode the Polar Express to the North Pole on December 1st. We drank hot cocoa, ate cookies, and sang Christmas carrols. Santa climbed aboard the Polar Express and gave each child a bell.

Thanksgiving

Cash Jennings turned 6 months old on November 10th.

Cash is quite vocal now. He makes all kinds of cooing noises and one that really sounds like "hi" when he first sees someone. There are times where he gets really loud as if he's yelling at me (I think I'm gonna be in trouble!). He's still very unpredictable with his sleeping...waking 1-5 times a night. However, he is very set on having his Prevacid at 5pm, bath at 5:30pm, and to bed at 6pm. He will let you know if you haven't followed his routine! He's also getting close to sitting unassisted, sucks his thumb to go to sleep, and enjoys chewing on his toy girrafe.

Today we had a fun-filled time at the Helgoth's Pumpkin Patch! The day started out at a cool 48 degrees when we arrived shortly after it opened, but the sun ended up shining and the day was quite enjoyable.

Cash is a fairly happy boy these days. He smiles alot (with his tongue out) and laughs when he is tickled, talked to, or looks in the mirror. He rolls from tummy to back and pushes up on his arms really well. He still wakes 3-4 times a night *yawn* and has only slept through the night twice in the last month. Maybe next month!

Nebraska State Fair

We attended the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island on September 4th. My parents went along to help with the boys and enjoy the festivities.

Collin loved this New Holland semi truck. I'm guessing he would have drove it home if knew how!

Cash did great that day and took several naps in the stroller sucking his thumb.

The boys and I drove to Glasco, KS yesterday for my cousins wedding & reception. Grandma & Grandpa Oliver were also there and were a HUGE help with the boys!

The reception happened to be in a building that did NOT have air conditioning. It had to of been close to 90 degress inside. Surprisingly the boys did very well. This picture was taken towards the end of the evening when we were all sweaty and two out of the three had food dribbled down their shirts.

All Aboard the Choo-Choo Train!

On August 13th I had heard about the Union Pacific passenger train being in Kearney. I knew the big boys would love it so we headed down town and climbed aboard (they were nice & let us on without tickets). Daddy stayed home with Cash. The train took us to Elm Creek and back.

There was a camera on each end of the train so we could watch on the tv what was ahead of us.

3 Months Old

Cash seems to be drooling all the time now. I think I got rid of most of the bibs because Carson & Collin rarely used them. I think I'll be purchasing more!

Crying, crying, crying....and more crying!

Cash still cries a lot but there are days where I think he is getting much better. In fact, his days have been great right now but his nights have been awful. He went from sleeping through the night for 6 weeks to waking every 1-3 hours.

Cash weighed 12lbs 11oz when we saw the pediatrician last week. He said he looks like a healthy boy and that he just has some troubles sleeping. I know they say it isn't possible to spoil a baby but boy does he know how to be spoiled!

We celebrated Carson's 6th Birthday on Sunday with a party at Harmon Park. It was extremely HOT so the party didn't last long but at least we found some shade.

Cash has not been an easy-going baby like his brothers were. I am still trying to figure him out! Luckily, he is now sleeping from 7pm to 5am every night. He is still pretty crabby during the day and if you don't get him down for a nap when he is ready then he cries and fights sleep for hours. His little tummy does not like spicy food or my prenatal vitamin. I thought maybe dairy was the culprit for his crabbiness but I didn't see any changes in him during the 3 1/2 weeks that I was dairy-free. He is typically happy for 10-15 minutes after eating and then it all goes down hill. He smiles and laughs when you talk to him and it absolutely melts my heart!

4th of July

After 2 "hot" days at the lake, we decided to spend the 4th of July at home. We lit off fireworks, grilled steaks, chicken legs & potatoes, and lit off more fireworks. Collin was terrified of them so he spent the entire evening hiding out in the house.

It was a great 4th of July weekend spent together as a family!

We spent the holiday weekend at the Starostka lake. The boys love the water, sand, and sun! The food was delicious, the band (Stan the Man) was great, and the time spent with friends was enjoyable!

I took the boys out for a movie date on June 24th with the help of our babysitter. We went to see Cars 2. Cash wasn't a fan of it ( I spent most of the time with him in the lobby) but the big boys loved it!

Carson wiggled his top tooth so loose on Saturday afternoon that I was sure it would come out with just a little pull. Brett and I both tried without success so we sent him to bed. He was worried that it would fall out while he was sleeping and I reassured him that it wouldn't....He found his tooth laying next to his pillow on Sunday morning! So much for believing Mom & Dad!

I Can't Believe It!

How does one month go by so quickly!?!?

Cash weighed 9lbs on Monday when we went into the clinic. He is now on medicine for acid reflux and I have started a non-dairy diet to see if this helps with his fussiness. He is still waking every 2-3 hours at night and often staying awake for 1-1 1/2 hours at a time. I'm plum exhausted!

Thursday night the boys attended the Sneak & Peek class at the hospital. Carson took the same class before Collin was born and it is a great opportunity for children to learn about how they can help care for a sibling and take a tour of the Family Birth Center.

Storm Hockey

Our realtor, Matt Meister, had sent me a message last week saying he had 32 extra tickets to the Tri-City Storm Hockey game. I decided that he boys would probably enjoy going to a game!

Collin & Mommy Carson watched pretty closely.

Collin wasn't a fan of the loud music but did pretty good sitting for 2 hours.

Carson really enjoyed going and is already talking about going back to another game!

Spring Break To-Do List

One of the things on my To-Do List for Spring Break was to begin on the baby's room. I would have done the room a long time ago, but I had been instructed to wait until our new windows were installed. The windows have been in our garage since January and well.....it's now March and our baby boy will be arriving in 6 weeks so I just couldn't wait any longer.

Carson helped me put together the crib. I could NOT have done it without him! I still have things to hang on the wall and curtains to HOPEFULLY hang over the new windows. My parents will be bringing a glider chair for me to use. I'll post more pictures when I get it all done!

Spring Break

Since we went to the Great Wolf Lodge over Spring Break last year, Carson was determined we had to do something just as fun this year. Since I am 8 months pregnant and Brett was unable to come home on "his weekend" because of a construction expo in Las Vegas, I decided that Omaha would be the most I could do. Grandma Betty insisted she come along to help and boy am I glad she did! I've been sick with sinus infection/cough ever since February 19th when Carson had influenza and this weekend I felt pretty miserable.

LOL!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown and the boys had a blast in their splash ground/pool area.

On Sunday morning we headed to the Henry Doorly Zoo. It was perfect weather and the boys had a blast seeing all the animals. It was a lot of walking for everyone but they did a great job!

Collin loved all the fish in the aqaurium the most!

Both boys were exhausted after the trip to the zoo and took good naps before swimming, eating at PF Changs, and swimming some more.

Overall, I'd say Spring Break 2011 was a big hit!

The Granny Awards

Carson's music program, The Granny Awards, was held Monday evening. He wasn't quite sure about getting up in front of a crowd but he did great! Brett was able to adjust his "3 day home" schedule so that he could attend and I think that made Carson very happy.

On December 27th we had our ultrasound. Carson wanted Dr. Jorgensen to write down what we were having on a piece of paper so that he could announce to us if he was having a brother or sister. She put the doppler on my stomach and my eyes could hardly see on the screen that there was a baby before she shut it off and asked for Carson's paper. We were all surprised that she knew so fast! Carson smiled after looking at the paper and said, "BOY!"

Carson Michael likes......Cheesy Wild Rice Soup, juice, Fluffy, his gameboy, watching cartoons, playing soccer, and going to the Children's Museum. He does not like...his dad being gone, sleeping in, lasagna, his coat on in the car or his socks on crooked.

Collin Wyatt likes.......Fruit, strawberry milk, 2 pup-pups (and now a polar bear too!), watching movies, playing with choo-choos, and going to the Children's Museum. He does not like.....eggs, sitting down to eat, going to sleep at night or being told "no".

Carving Out Pumpkins

We decided to add a little Halloween decor to our front porch this year.

Carson helped with the ooey-gooey mess while Collin watched in pure disgust. Evidently, messiness is not his thing...yet!

We proudly lit our pumpkin and watched it glow in the darkness that night.

Dozer was quite disappointed that he did not get included in the pumpkin viewing with rest of the family.
However, his face looks like that all the time so I'm unsure of whether he was truly disappointed!

Collin Wyatt has decided it's time for him to become a big boy! Even if I don't approve of him growing up, I do approve of NO MORE DIAPERS! He's had a very successful week (with lots of help from daycare) and I think it's safe to say he's on the road to being a big boy!

Five years ago I never imagined that the time would go so fast. I never imagined that his cute little grin would bring me so much joy. I never imagined that his endless chatter would drive me crazy in a good & bad way. And, I never imagined that I'd be one of those mom's who cried as they sent their baby to Kindergarten.
The day came and I told myself that he'd be fine (and he was!). But, as I saw the 3 most important boys in my life walking towards those Kindergarten doors...I couldn't help but shed a tear. And a few more tears came later as Brett grabbed my hand in comfort when we walked away from our little Kindergartner.

We celebrated Carson's 5th birthday at the Starostka Lake on August 1st. It's a good thing we hadn't planned anything for his actual birthday because he ended up having strep throat. Poor little guy recovered quickly. I think his dad coming home helped!

Furnas County Fair

We decided to try something different this year and endure 4 nights at the Furnas County Fair. The tractor pull started on Wednesday evening and Carson gave it his all! The rest of the fair was filled with rides, rodeos, funnel cakes, swine show, demolition derby, snow cones, and did I mention more RIDES.

Everything a fair should be and then some!

Missing Brett

Things I wish I didn't have to do while my husband is gone...

1. Mow the grass....and mow again 5 days later.
2. Lug 40lb bags of softener salt to the basement.
3. Do laundry alone....yes, majority of the time we share this chore.
4. Cook...because we all know my meals aren't near as tasty as his!
5. Grocery shop...I don't mind but it's much easier when we each have a kid in our cart.
6. Sleep alone.
7. Tell my kids how many days until their daddy comes home OVER & OVER again.
8. Comfort Carson when he says he misses his daddy.
9. Find a ton of things to do on the weekends to make the time go faster.
10. Worry about him.

Easter Weekend

I submitted my final assignment for the semester last night so I FINALLY have some free time to catch up on things I enjoy doing.....I'll start by catching you all up on Easter. Please forgive me, it has been awhile since I have done this and all my pictures seem to be out of order.

Kansas City Part III

Everyone was exhausted from our Kansas City adventures over the past 4 days. Carson slept soundly snuggled up to his "monk", which he made at Build A Bear Workshop in California when Brett came home from Okinawa in 2007 and his new friend, Fluffy.

It snowed all day on Saturday and was cold and windy. The roads were messy on Sunday morning so we went out for breakfast at a nearby restaurant and then hung around the hotel room before waiting for the roads to clear.

The ride home went so much quicker than the ride down. We stopped 3 times again and were happy to have Grandma Betty waiting for us when we arrived. The boys were eager to play outside in the sunshine (without a trace of snow).

Kansas City Part II

Friday finally came and Carson could hardly wait to check into the Great Wolf Lodge! We stepped into our room just long enough to change into our suits and headed to the water park.

As you can imagine, it is difficult to carry your camera around at a water park, so I did not get near as many pictures as I would have liked. Majority of the time Carson and I were going down the slides while Brett & Collin hung out in the family hot tub.

That evening we enjoyed supper at a Hibachi grill and both boys thought it was a lot of fun to watch the chef cook. Collin kept looking at me with a surprised look on his face and saying "ooh!" The food was delicious!

Brett tried getting Collin to sleep that night (without success) while Carson and I headed down to the lobby for story time. There were many kids and Carson seemed to enjoy every minute of it.

He even hugged Wiley the Wolf!

On Saturday woke up and headed down to the water park for some more swimming. After an hour or two we checked out of the lodge and headed back to the Hampton Inn for some much needed naps/rest. That afternoon we went shopping at a mall and the boys enjoyed making their very own puppies at Build A Bear Workshop. We finished up the day with some Italian food and more swimming at the lodge before we finally snipped our wrist bands.

Kansas City Part 1

Spring break finally came and we all were so excited to spend some time at home and then pack up our bags and head to Kansas City. We ended up leaving a day earlier than planned but it was worth every minute of rushing around to get things ready....bags packed, car loaded, Dozer to the vet, homework turned in, etc.

We stopped briefly 3 times of the way there and got to Kansas City just in time for supper. Brett took us out to eat at 5 Guys Burgers and Fries and we walked around the Legends shopping center for a while.

On Thursday we did some more shopping, browsed around Nebraska Furniture Mart and had supper at the T-Rex Cafe.

It's been awhile since I've updated everyone on what the boys have been up to. Other than pictures that is! Carson has said some pretty funny things lately and I know if I don't write them down I will soon forget them. As I always do.

Dozer
He told his daycare provider shortly after we got Dozer...."Dozer is part dog and part big. But more part pig." I think it's safe to say that Dozer's snoring/snorting/grunting was the reason behind this comment.

Missing Daddy
I asked Carson yesterday on our way to Walmart if he coudl hop on a plane and go anywhere he could, where would he go? He responded, "Where daddy is!" I think Brett would probably argue with Carson that Doniphan, MO is not a place you'd want to be. Or so I've been told!

So Many Questions
On our way to Beaver City today we drove past a funeral home that is being built. Carson asked me what it was and I had to explain in quite detail what a funeral home is after many "why & what" questions he proceeded to ask me, "Do you think they'll be finished with it before grandma dies?" It's questions like these that make me wonder what's going on in that little boys head.....lots and lots of thinking I believe!

This was from Carson's daily report at Krystal's last Thursday.
Today we had pancakes at lunch time. One of the kids asked if they could have that special dip to put on the pancakes (syrup). Carson nicely informed them, "It’s called syrup. Becuause you
put it on the pancakes and makes it all syrupy. Syrup. Syrup. Can you say that? Syrup." He was very nice (and informative) with his explaination. Sounded like a little grown up.

The Quiet One
Mr. Collin is not quite at his brothers level of communicating. Nor do I expect him to be. However, he is adding more and more words each day. He says things like ball, down, up, more, milk, Dozer, cheese, shoes, truck, car, choo-choo, hat, please, no, thank-you, bath, quack, moo, meow, kitty and oink. Still generally very quiet and only speaks when he wants to. I think that may just be his personallity. He likes to point to pictures in books, ride his tricycle, play ball with Dozer, and sleep with his pup-pup (another word!). He gets his lazy, I want to stay in bed all day, behavior from me....or maybe his dad! I'm not so sure!

Due to the blizzard conditions on Christmas Eve, we opted to stay safe and warm in the comfort of our own home. We'll be celebrating with Grandma & Grandpa Kopke on January 2nd instead.

On Tuesday evening, Brett & I surprised the boys with an early Christmas present. Brett arrived home from Missouri with an English Bulldog we proudly named Dozer!

Carson didn't know quite what to do when he saw him walk in.....so he giggled and smiled!

Collin went crazy! He ran around the house squeeling, crawled on the floor to get him, and barked like a dog. He's been very gentle with Dozer. Giving him kisses and hugs.

I have a feeling that these two will be best buds!

Happy Halloween!

I tried hard not to let my sinus infection ruin our evening of Trick or Treating.....so I pulled myself up off the couch, dressed the boys, and away we went!
This had to be one of the easiest (and cheapest) costume year yet! Carson opted to be Thomas the Train again and Collin...well he had no choice but to wear Carson's former monkey suit.

The weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed walking through the leaves around the neighborhood.

On September 27th we attended Braden's 5th birthday party at the YMCA in Hastings. The kids had a great time and I enjoyed visiting (briefly) with Ryan & Amy. Unfortanately, Carson collided with a "big kid" on the slide and as a result, he had his very first black eye. My poor baby....I mean BIG BOY!

So Many Toys....So Little Time

For several nights we (including our neighbors I'm sure) got to listen to the sound of a saw and hammer busy at work. Brett began a project that has been on my honey-do (or honey-want!) list for quite some time. It wasn't difficult to convince him that this was something we need....because the mess of the toys actually bother him way more than it does me! So we no longer have our sign on the wall saying, "So many toys.....so little time!" Each toy has their very own spot on our built in shelf!

A Place Called Home

I am lucky enough to have two places that I call home. Of course our home is in Kearney as you know. But I also call Beaver City home. It's the town I grew up in and the town where my parents still reside. It's another place I consider home. I don't get back there near as often as I should but there are certain occasions that I just can't seem to miss. It's not so much about me anymore. It's about my boys. I love watching them experience the same things I was able to experience growing up. Being able to play outdoors and not have to worry about traffic or strangers, everyone knowing who you are and always calling you by name, and one of my favorites as a kid......Eager Beaver Days!

Grand Marshal's of the parade included my dad, Jacob Becker, and A.J. Perkins for their services in Iraq & Kuwait.

Carson could hardly wait for the parade. He was up at 3:30am and again at 6 o'clock asking if it was time to go yet. He filled his bag with candy and his little body with sugar!

Collin enjoyed watching all the excitement this year. He pointed to a lot of things that seem to catch his eye....the band, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, and firetrucks.

Carson was able to participate in the turtle races this year. Thanks to the Tegtman family for supplying the turtle and painting and cool "C" for Carson on its back!

Another big moment (according to Carson) during the Eager Beaver Day celebration
was the water fight put on by the local volunteer fire department.

I do believe that during out entire trip home, this may have been the only time I seen this kid standing still. What I wouldn't do to have that energy again! I'm so thankful that I have two places that I can call home....and our boys can appreciate every second of it. Just like I do.

Birthday Cake Drama

It's the day Carson & I have been waiting for...Brett's Birthday! Carson & I planned months ago that we would order Brett his own cake from Daylight Donuts. They have always made the boys' and I decided that twice a year just isn't enough. They are scrumptious! So.....I pick up the cake this morning and as I'm walking into the house the box presses against me and rubs the front of the cake. @$#&! I quickly come to the conclusion (after taste testing the part left on the box)that I could smooth out the frosting and no one would ever notice. However, the camoflauge design was airbrushed on and only white frosting appeared when I smoothed the knife acrossed it. I'm thinking at this point that I have totally blown and great looking cake....or at least a good photo of it! I stewed over this for quite some time at work and came to the conclusion that I could stick the gift card I purchased for Brett to the front of the cake. I ran to Cabela's to exchange the 5 little cards I had for 1 big ($$$ that is not size) one. While there, I noticed a nice post card of the Kearney Cabela's and decided I'd purchase it just in case (even better news when I found out it was free!). Anway, to make a long story short, I opted for the post card and the cake turned at like this......delicious and completely edible!

It worked out perfectly that we were already going to be in Omaha the day before for my surgery. On Friday morning Brett and I left for Omaha so that I could get LASIKS done. This is hopefully the last picture that you will ever see of me in glasses! The surgery was done by 3pm and I was able to see well enough to go out to Famous Dave's for supper. Overall, I'd say the experience is very similiar to childbirth.....not something you'd ever dream of doing again if it wasn't for the amazing outcome!

Monday August 24th was Carson's first official day of Pre-K! He was excited to be heading back to Mrs. Koenig's classroom at Zion Lutheran School. The four year olds meet Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
I was excited to pick him up that morning. I wanted to hear about all the fun things he did! He was tight-lipped about it all and wouldn't share the slightest bit of info with his mom. His response to all my questions (did you go out for recess? did you have snack? ect.) was............................. "we always do that!"

What have we been up to?

So, it's been awhile since I have just filled everyone in on the things that are happening in the Springer household. I hope I don't make everyone yawn with boredome! I'll start with the smallest one in the family....

Collin Wyatt~ Where do I begin? He began walking independently about a month ago and getting quite fast at it on August 8th (at Jess's wedding). Then on the following Monday he suddenly stopped. In fact, he wouldn't use his left at all. I was quite scared and it was obvious that something was very wrong. You could move it and he wouldn't cry but yet he wouldn't stand on it. Urgent Care took x-rays and found nothing broke and sent us home thinking it was bruised cartlidge. The following day he wasn't even crawling around normally. So was it his foot, leg, or hip that was bothering him? I honestly couldn't tell? A friend from work (physical therapist) thoroughly examined him on Wednesday and our doctor ran blood test on Thursday and Collin seemed to have everyone baffled. By Friday he was pulling up to stand but still not bearing much weight on the left foot. Over the weekend he slowly got better and by Monday he was back to walking. I'm thanking the Lord that it wasn't one of the many horrible things that kept running through my head that LONG week my sweet boy wouldn't walk!

While at the doctor we found out that Collin weighs just 19lbs 5oz. He's still my tiny little guy and he just might have to stay my baby forever ;-) However, he is growing up! He is working on teeth number 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 at the moment. OUCH! He uses his spoon to eat an entire meal (something Carson still does not do!), he likes to draw (maybe he'll have Brett's artistic abilities!), and he loves to ride push toys all around the driveway! Collin has decided to worry me some more by not talking. His one and only consistant word is "uh-oh". Now, I sit here and go over and over it in my head....is he not talking because of all the ear infections? Does he understand what I want him to do? Is the whining really getting him everything he wants? Does he have a chance to talk with non-stop chatter from Carson? Anyway, I'm keeping an eye on him (with great support from my SLP co-workers) and reminding myself daily that all kids develop differently.

Carson Michael~ Hmmm....where do I begin with him? He is growing up before our very eyes! During the past 2 weeks he has managed to keep his pull-up dry every night and he decided on his own that he was ready to wear underwear to bed. He has been such a BIG boy and has gone 4 nights staying dry! He is also getting to the "no nap" stage. Something I'm not quite ready for but then again I knew this time would come. When Carson does nap it takes us hours to get him to stay in his bed and go to sleep at night. Honestly, my eyes shut before his do. So the time has come to say goodbye to naps and hello to rest period. He will be starting preschool on Monday and is truly excited about his upcoming role of being in Mrs. Koenig's pre-k classroom. He has his bag packed and ready to go!

Brett~ He has been working in Grand Island on the Casey's gas station for the past month or so. We have all enjoyed having him home every night! It is such a change for all of us. But a nice one. I believe he is 3 weeks ahead of schedule and spending long and hot days working on the job site. Carson was his "assistant" for a few hours last week and loved every minute of it!

As for me, I've been busy too. I started the new school year which is always exciting because all the staff is back and I'm not alone in my office anymore. It was quite a s-l-o-w summer for some reason. I'm going to plan my schedule differently for this year so that I can spend more days home with the boys next summer. I'm so happy I have the luxury of flexible scheduling! I will be begining two online classes for my masters program on Monday (it's school day around here). I'm hoping they aren't too difficult, Brett will continue to work in the area so I have help at night, and Carson goes to sleep at night. That isn't too much to ask for is it?

Jessica & Derek's Wedding

On Saturday night, we attended the wedding of my good friend from high school, Jessica Horwart & her new husband, Derek Dittman.
The wedding & reception were in Orleans so my parents watched the boys while Brett & I attended the wedding (in peace) and then my mom brought Carson & Collin over for the reception.

The wedding party had planned a fun dance that everyone enjoyed and it really got the crowd going!

Brett does not use my camera all that often and didn't realize he had to put the flash up, so this picture of Carson & I dancing had to be lightened up in order for you to see it. Carson is quite the dancer!
